Supply Chain Analyst

Job Title: Data Analyst 3 (Supply chain/Logistics) Job Location: Onsite at Santa Ana, CA 92707 Duration: 6+ Months Contract (High possibility of extension) Responsibilities: • Data & business analysis • Data mining & extraction from multiple sources to build reports • Daily, weekly, monthly report generation • Report automation & design • Maintaining existing dashboards; weekly & monthly analysis and reporting • Help drive critical business decisions by in depth analysis; provide recommendations based on findings • Develop models that help with decision-making • Identify opportunities for performance improvement • Publish standard and complex ad-hoc reports with varying detail for different audiences Required qualifications: • Minimum 3 years of experience in reports and data analysis within logistics, distribution center, warehouse, and/or supply chain environments • Experience in cost analysis, and reporting of key performance indicators • High proficiency in MS Excel (40%), SQL (35%), Access, BI Tools, and PowerPoint (25%) is required • Experience in a logistics, warehouse, and/or supply chain (operations) environment is required • Experience with SAP is required • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or related field • Results driven and ability to handle multiple projects Additional skills: • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem solving skills • Strong data mining skills and experience extracting & manipulating data from multiple sources • Critical thinking skills - analysis, interpretation, inference, explanation, self-regulation, open-mindedness, and problem-solving • Strong math, communication, and organizational skills • Excellent attention to detail • Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment • Strong verbal and written communications skills • Ability to employ effective time management skills • Independently follow and execute work assignments • Must be able to work without supervision; self-starter • Ability to interact with all levels of management including executives • Performs work under time schedules and stresses which are normally periodic or cyclical, including time sensitive job stress, intellectual challenge, constant technical data feedback, and language barriers.
