Job Tittle: Business Analyst Duration: 06-month contract with possible extension Location: Dallas, TX 75201 (Hybrid: Travel Monthly Once) Job Description: • As a Business Analyst Contractor, you will support the project team by providing analytical expertise and ensuring the successful delivery of project objectives. • Conduct research and gather data to support project objectives and decision-making. • Analyze and document business processes, requirements, and workflows. • Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirements specifications, process maps, and user stories. • Assist in the development of project plans, timelines, and deliverables. • Prepare and deliver presentations and reports to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders. Role Summary: • Functional analyst needed to support a global supply chain data platform for a major automotive client. • The role will focus on understanding business needs, shaping requirements, analyzing data, and ensuring delivered solutions meet functional expectations. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with product teams to understand business use cases and priorities • Facilitate requirement gathering with client stakeholders, SI teams, and source system owners • Analyze datasets using SQL to validate against business requirements • Identify data gaps, quality issues, and mismatches • Partner with development teams to guide solution implementation • Validate data products and support functional testing Required Skills & Experience: • Experience as a Business Analyst / Functional Analyst in data or platform programs • Strong SQL and data analysis skills • Ability to convert business needs into clear functional requirements • Experience working across product, business, SI, and development teams • Automobile, Supply chain domain knowledge • Business Process Requirements Gathering. • Expert (10+ years' experience). • SAP - APO-FCS - Demand Planning. • Logility - Voyager Supply Planning. Preferred Qualifications: • Familiarity with data quality validation and requirement traceability. • Experience with any Hyperscalar or Databricks.
