β’ Data Analyst (Supply Chain)
Duration: 6+month contract with possible extensions
Rate: $35-$40 hourly W2 DOE
Location: Atlanta, GA, 4 days a week onsite
Our client is looking for a Supply Chain Data Analyst that will be responsible for conducting in-depth spend analyses, developing and maintaining category baselines, and translating complex data into actionable insights that inform enterprise-wide category strategies. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the purchasing department by analyzing data, optimizing purchasing processes, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Responsibilities:
β’ Lead and execute projects using established project management best practices, including scoping, scheduling, work breakdown structures, and resource assignments.
β’ Identify, assess, and manage project and operational risks, proactively developing mitigation and contingency plans.
β’ Manage supplier relationships and performance, including development and tracking of KPIs to ensure service, quality, and compliance standards are met.
β’ Support contract development and management, including scope definition, standard work, performance criteria, warranties, guarantees, and payment terms.
β’ Conduct detailed category-level spend analysis and ongoing monitoring to identify trends, savings opportunities, and off-contract or rogue spend.
β’ Support and participate in contract negotiations ($1Mβ$10M), applying effective negotiation and conflict-resolution strategies to optimize total cost of ownership and value.
β’ Lead and support end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives, including opportunity assessment, RFI/RFP development, supplier evaluation, and negotiations.
β’ Develop and execute category strategies that align sourcing, change management, process improvement, and technology enablement.
β’ Oversee market research and analysis, including cost drivers, market indices, pricing analysis, and supplier SWOT and risk assessments.
β’ Apply and coordinate end-to-end procurement policies and processes, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure efficient execution and vendor integration.
β’ Applies a solid understanding of business priorities, performance metrics, and market dynamics to dayβtoβday work.
β’ Uses data, financial insights, and structured analysis to solve complex problems and identify cost, quality, or efficiency improvements.
Requirements & Qualifications:
β’ 3β5 years of experience in category management and/or data analytics
β’ Hands-on experience with analytics and data visualization tools such as SAP, Ariba, Power BI, Python, Tableau, QlikView, Alteryx, and/or SQL for extracting and analyzing relational data
β’ Prior experience in Procurement preferred
β’ Bachelorβs degree in a technical or business discipline (or equivalent experience) preferred
β’ Professional Supply Chain certification strongly desired
β’ Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated project management, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities
β’ Local to Atlanta and ability to work Hybrid Schedule
