This role will lead the design and deployment of advanced Machine Learning (ML) and Generative AI (GenAI) solutions to optimize global supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in supply chain analytics, end-to-end ML lifecycle management, and experience building scalable models in a production environment. You’ll collaborate closely with engineering and business teams to drive measurable improvements in forecasting, logistics, and inventory management. Key Responsibilities: • Design and deploy advanced ML models for demand forecasting, inventory optimization, and logistics planning • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and production-ready solutions • Apply expertise in time-series forecasting, causal modeling, and Generative AI • Own the full ML lifecycle: problem scoping, data preparation, model development, deployment, and monitoring • Build batch and real-time algorithms with A/B testing, automated validation, and monitoring tools • Stay up to date with emerging GenAI and supply chain technologies Required Qualifications: • 8+ years of professional experience in Data Science with a focus on supply chain or logistics • Proficiency in Python, R, Scala, or Rust • Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and big data tools like Spark • Hands-on experience with MLFlow or similar tools • Practical knowledge of Generative AI technologies (open-source LLMs, APIs, deployment) • Strong business acumen in supply chain and retail operations • Excellent communication and leadership skills • Self-starter who can work independently and drive initiatives Preferred Qualifications: • Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in Computer Science, Data Science, or Supply Chain Management • Prior experience in retail or logistics environments • Familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow or PyTorch Why Join: • Influence the future of AI-driven supply chain innovation • Contribute to high-impact, long-term projects • Work with both traditional ML and cutting-edge GenAI applications • Enjoy full remote flexibility across the US and Canada • Collaborate with world-class engineering teams on enterprise-scale AI systems Staffworxs is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
