Title : Manager (Demand & Supply Process Improvement)
Contract Duration: 5 months (03/01/2026 to 07/31/2026) with the opportunity to convert
Location: 100% onsite at Fort Wort, Texas 76155
Pay Rate: $66/hr on W2
ROLE
• Leads strategic initiatives to enhance end to end demand and supply planning performance across the organization. This role focuses on analyzing planning processes, identifying structural gaps, and designing solutions that improve forecast accuracy, inventory health, service levels, and overall supply chain responsiveness.
• Working within the Supply Chain Transformation team, the manager partners with demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, procurement, operations, and technology groups to evaluate current-state processes, implement standardized best practices, and drive adoption of new planning tools and capabilities. The role leverages data-driven insights, root-cause analysis, and change management to deliver sustainable improvements in planning efficiency and decision-making
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead cross‑functional initiatives to improve end‑to‑end demand and supply planning processes, ensuring alignment with organizational transformation goals.
• Analyze current-state demand planning, supply planning, and S&OP/IBP workflows to identify inefficiencies, systemic issues, and structural improvement opportunities.
• Drive process redesign efforts to enhance forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, replenishment performance, and supply resilience.
• Collaborate closely with demand planners, supply planners, procurement, operations, finance, and IT to develop and implement standardized best practices.
• Use data-driven insights, performance dashboards, and root‑cause analysis to uncover planning exceptions, variability drivers, and underlying process gaps.
• Support the deployment, enhancement, or optimization of planning technologies (APS, forecasting tools, ERP/WMS integrations) as part of transformation efforts.
• Build future-state process documentation, playbooks, and frameworks to improve consistency and decision-making across planning teams.
• Partner with change management teams to ensure effective communication, training, and adoption of new tools and processes.
Top 3 to 5 skillsets / years of experience
• Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to interpret complex demand, supply, and inventory data.
• Proficiency in advanced planning tools and technologies (APS, forecasting systems, ERP planning modules).
• Solid understanding of statistical forecasting concepts, planning parameters, and supply planning logic.
• Skilled in process mapping, process design, and workflow standardization.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
• Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree or equivalent experience/training
• 5+ years relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications – Education & Prior Job Experience
• FAA A&P Certifications.
• Operational Excellence/Continuous Improvement experience.
Skills, Licenses, and Certifications
• Proficiency in data and visualization tools (Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
• Ability to conduct root‑cause analysis and develop data-backed improvement strategies.
• Knowledge of key planning metrics such as forecast accuracy, bias, service levels, inventory turns, and lead-time performance
• Deep understanding of end‑to‑end demand planning, supply planning, replenishment, and inventory optimization.
• Knowledge of supply chain network flows, capacity constraints, and demand-supply balancing.
• Experience participating in or supporting transformation initiatives within planning or operations functions.
