Role description
Our client, a leading organization in the technology and data management industry, is seeking a Support Engineer I to join their team. As a Support Engineer I, you will be part of the Data Engineering Support team supporting the delivery program for independent contractors. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Support Engineer I - Data Pipelines Location: Bellevue, WA | Fully onsite Pay Range: $26 per hour What's the Job? โ€ข Support large-scale data stacks with high data volumes, ensuring smooth operations and data integrity. โ€ข Work closely with data engineers to support data delivery programs and infrastructure. โ€ข Create and maintain data pipelines to facilitate data movement and storage. โ€ข Assist in onboarding data sets into repositories and platforms such as Lit Guard for litigation purposes. โ€ข Utilize SQL, AWS, CLI, and scripting skills to troubleshoot and optimize data workflows. What's Needed? โ€ข Strong experience in SQL and AWS technologies including S3, Athena, and CLI. โ€ข BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. โ€ข Experience working with large data sets and data pipelines. โ€ข Command line interface experience and scripting skills. โ€ข Nice to have: experience with coding, scripting, Athena, or Hive queries.
