Role description
Insight Global are seeking a Support Engineer L2 to join a fast-growing, technology-driven organisation operating at the forefront of AI and data platforms.
This position requires fully remote work in the United States (any time zone) for a 12βmonth contract, with strong potential for extension or conversion.
The Support Engineer L2 will sit between customer support and product engineering teams, playing a critical role in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving complex technical issues across a suite of proprietary platforms. This individual will develop deep expertise in the companyβs evolving technology stack and work closely with engineers to improve system stability, performance, and customer experience. This role represents a clear step up from a traditional Support Analyst position and is ideal for technically curious, selfβdriven individuals passionate about AI and continuous learning.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
β’ Support internal customer support teams by resolving escalated technical issues across multiple products
β’ Investigate, diagnose, and debug platform issues reported by users
β’ Partner closely with product and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement fixes
β’ Build and maintain a strong understanding of proprietary platforms, data pipelines, and APIs
β’ Contribute to platform reliability and performance improvements
β’ Work in a fast-paced environment with frequently evolving technologies
Must-Have Requirements Include:
β’ Strong background supporting AI-driven and/or data-intensive platforms
β’ Exposure to Palantir Foundry
β’ Technical proficiency with Python and/or PySpark
β’ Solid understanding of APIs and RESTful services
β’ Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
β’ Ability to adapt quickly to new tools, technologies, and workflows
Plusses Include:
β’ Experience working with data pipelines or data engineering concepts
β’ Familiarity with Swift or similar backend technologies
β’ Personal or side projects demonstrating passion for AI and emerging technologies
β’ Experience working closely with product or engineering teams in a support capacity
