Role description
Our customer is hiring a Software Engineer Specialist with proven expertise in Oracle MetaSolv M6 for telecommunications operations and service fulfillment systems.This is a contract-based position (6–12 months) with the possibility of extension.Candidates must reside in Puerto Rico, United States, Mexico, or other countries in North America. Experience in telecommunications (Telco) environments is highly preferred.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working with Oracle MetaSolv M6 (MSS) in telecom or network service environments.
Strong understanding of order management, inventory management, and service provisioning workflows within MetaSolv M6.
Proven ability to configure, customize, and integrate MetaSolv M6 with external systems such as CRM, billing, and OSS/BSS applications.
Experience developing and maintaining APIs, interfaces, and automation scripts related to service activation and network resource management.
Solid knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL/PL-SQL, and Java-based integration frameworks.
Familiarity with Spring Boot, SOAP/RESTful services, and middleware integration tools is a strong plus.
Experience in analyzing and optimizing provisioning workflows to improve efficiency and data accuracy.
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
Prior consulting or client-facing experience in telecom or enterprise system integration projects is desirable.
