Role description
System/Business Analyst – .NET & Content CMS Dallas, TX 3 days onsite Required Qualifications • 5–8+ years as a Business/System Analyst on web/digital programs with strong .NET background (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API) and SQL Server. • Hands‑on with at least one .NET CMS (e.g., Sitecore XM Cloud, Optimizely CMS, Umbraco, Kentico Xperience, Orchard Core) and understanding of headless/hybrid delivery patterns. • Experience designing content models, taxonomies, reusable components, and editorial workflows; familiarity with personalization/A/B testing, multi‑site/multi‑locale. • API integration experience (REST/GraphQL), Azure (App Service, Storage, Key Vault, Front Door/CDN), Git, Azure DevOps/Pipelines; basic front‑end literacy (HTML5, CSS, JS/TypeScript, React or Angular). • Working knowledge of search (Azure Cognitive Search, Solr, Elasticsearch), caching/CDN, performance testing (JMeter/K6), and observability (Application Insights, OpenTelemetry). • Strong facilitation, backlog management, and documentation skills; comfortable bridging business, product, UX, and engineering. Nice to Have • Certifications: Sitecore, Optimizely, Kentico, Umbraco, PSPO/CSPO, CBAP, AZ‑900/AI‑900/AZ‑204. • Experience with content marketing stacks and non‑.NET CMS (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot CMS) in mixed environments. • Commerce/marketing integration (PIM/DAM, CDP/CRM, MAP), and analytics (GA4/Adobe/Optimizely Experimentation). • Exposure to Orchard Core for modular, multi‑tenant .NET solutions. Key Deliverables • BRD/FRD, content model & taxonomy blueprint, CMS component matrix, integration specs, migration plan, end‑to‑end test scenarios/UAT scripts, and authoring governance (roles/permissions/workflows). Tools & Stack (representative) • .NET (ASP.NET Core, C#, EF Core); Azure; Azure DevOps/Git; Postman/Swagger; Jira/Confluence; Figma/Miro; App Insights/New Relic; Akamai/Cloudflare/Azure Front Door.
