Role description
Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Systems Architect in Cincinnati, OH. Duties: β€’ Systems Architect will analyze, design, develop, and support all major information systems β€’ Involved in determining the strategic direction of systems; Determines the protocols tools, languages, and databases to be used; And understands how all data, applications and hardware functions and interacts β€’ Involved in all major systems development and re-engineering efforts β€’ As a Systems Architect, you will provide applications and administration expertise in multiple areas, including UNIX-based servers, relational databases; LAN/WAN architectures, and other similar environments Requirements β€’ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or comparable experience) β€’ 5+ years of working experience with cloud technologies or data engineering β€’ Experience with Kubernetes, microservices and/or serverless computing β€’ Experience working in a multi-cloud dynamic team environment β€’ Experience with application deployment using CI/CD and IaC pipelines β€’ Experience in cloud computing and utilizing public cloud data stores like AWS S3, Azure BLOB, and Azure Files, along with various databases β€’ Good knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), secret management, and encryption techniques β€’ Knowledge of security measures for both data at rest and data in motion β€’ Proactive self-starter with a proven ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to complex challenges β€’ Ability to support the end-to-end execution of application development and seamless integration of diverse applications β€’ Preferred: Certifications such as Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, CCSK, or equivalent The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future. We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
