Job Title: Systems Integration Analyst
Location: Austin, TX (Remote)
Duration: 12+ Month Contract with potential extension
Job Description:
Customer is seeking an experienced Systems Integration Analyst to support a large-scale enterprise systems modernization initiative. This role will focus heavily on documenting and managing system integrations, data flows, APIs, and interface dependencies across multiple interconnected systems and external agencies.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with API integrations, data mapping, interface analysis, and system-to-system data flow documentation. This individual will work closely with vendors, technical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure integrations remain functional and compliant throughout system transition efforts.
This is a highly visible, long-term project with an expedited interview process.
Responsibilities
Discover, analyze, and document existing system integrations and interface dependencies
Map source-to-destination data flows across multiple enterprise systems
Document bi-directional and unidirectional interfaces between systems
Capture and validate data elements, field mappings, transformation logic, and data types
Support interface recreation, testing, and validation efforts during system transitions
Collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and partner agencies on API integration requirements
Ensure continuity of data exchange and downstream system functionality during implementation efforts
Coordinate with departments and external entities receiving CJIS-related data to maintain compliance and operational continuity
Assist with establishing integration documentation standards, processes, and best practices
Work with technical and business stakeholders to identify integration risks and dependencies
Participate in troubleshooting and resolution of interface and integration issues
Required Qualifications
5–10 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Integration Analyst, or similar role
Strong experience with API integrations and system-to-system data exchanges
Experience documenting interfaces, integrations, and data flows in enterprise environments
Strong understanding of data mapping, field mapping, and integration architecture concepts
Experience identifying and documenting source and destination system relationships
Knowledge of bidirectional and unidirectional data flow methodologies
Experience working with vendors and cross-functional technical teams
Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced project environment
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with data modeling or data mapping tools
Experience creating integration documentation standards or governance processes
Public sector, justice, law enforcement, or CJIS-regulated environment experience is a plus
Familiarity with tools such as Visio, Excel, or other integration/documentation platforms
Additional Information
Remote position; however, candidates must be local to Austin, TX or able to travel onsite on Day 1 for equipment setup
Mileage and travel expenses for initial onsite visit are not reimbursed
Equipment and VPN access will be provided
Background checks and onboarding processing may take several weeks after selection
Interviews are expected to begin immediately
