Systems/Business Analyst III (Contract – 12 Months, Potential Extension)
Position Overview
We are seeking four experienced Systems/Business Analyst III professionals to support key initiatives across the Technology Services portfolio. This role serves as a critical liaison between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring business needs are translated into clear, actionable technical requirements and solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and experience working in complex, matrixed environments supporting enterprise-level systems and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Systems Analysis
• Gather, analyze, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
• Translate business needs into detailed system design specifications and solution documentation.
• Break down requirements into clear, consumable user stories aligned with Agile delivery frameworks.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions.
• Support interface and integration problem-solving across multiple applications and platforms.
Stakeholder Collaboration
• Act as a liaison between business units, product teams, and technical development teams.
• Collaborate across multiple portfolios and project teams simultaneously.
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Support product intake processes including evaluation and documentation of project requests.
Technical & Delivery Support
• Partner with development and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Assist in validating solutions through testing, acceptance criteria development, and defect resolution.
• Contribute to system implementation, analysis, and ongoing system improvements.
• Support system integration initiatives involving data layers, APIs, and enterprise platforms.
Required Qualifications
• 5–7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong experience documenting business and system requirements.
• Experience writing Agile user stories and supporting Scrum or Agile delivery teams.
• Demonstrated ability to work within matrixed organizations and multi-stakeholder environments.
• Strong communication, facilitation, and documentation skills.
• Understanding of system integration, data flows, and application development concepts.
Preferred Qualifications
• Salesforce platform experience.
• Product intake or project intake evaluation experience.
• Experience working across enterprise technology portfolios.
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
