You’ll work with advanced PI tools, build analytics that matter, and collaborate closely with engineering and operational teams that rely on real-time insights to make decisions every day. High-impact work – Build solutions that influence major operational, safety, and performance decisions Modern technology exposure – Work directly with PI AF, PI Vision, analytics, and automation tools Collaborative environment – Partner with IT, OT, and engineering teams who value innovation and reliability Continuous growth – Expand your experience with scripting, integrations, and enterprise PI architecture Your Role & Responsibilities Design, configure, and optimize OSIsoft PI System components including PI Server, Data Archive, AF, and Vision Build and maintain PI AF structures, templates, and analytics to support advanced operational insights Develop dashboards and visualizations in PI Vision for engineering, operations, and leadership Troubleshoot and resolve real-time data connectivity and system performance issues Create automation scripts (Python, C#, or PowerShell) to streamline system tasks and data workflows Support integrations between PI and other operational systems using industry communication protocols Participate in long-term planning, upgrades, and modernization projects for PI environments Skills & Experience You Should Possess You’re encouraged to apply even if you don’t meet 100% of these requirements. 5+ years of hands-on experience with OSIsoft PI (Data Archive, AF, Vision) Strong experience with PI AF, AF templates, and AF Analytics Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills Familiarity with IT/OT networking, communications, and real-time data connectivity Experience with visualization tools, ideally PI Vision Bonus Points If You Have Experience with scripting (Python, PowerShell, or C#) Electric or gas utility industry experience Knowledge of server administration, system architecture, or multi-system integrations Exposure to cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or AVEVA Cloud Experience working on high performing Agile Delivery teams Education & Certifications You Need Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field OSIsoft/AVEVA certifications are helpful but not required What We Offer At Trissential, we’re committed to connecting top talent with meaningful, high‑impact work. Competitive Compensation – You choose the model that works best for you, both with company-sponsored benefits! $123,000–$143,000 annually or $72–$82 per hour, depending on your skills, experience, and location. Final compensation is determined based on skill alignment, years of experience, and fair, market-based rates by geography.
