W2 only, sorry we cannot do C2C or transfer H1 at this time Qualifications & Description: Tableau Administrators. Must be familiar with large scale installs running on windows. They must have done installs configuration and need to be able to code in Python. Job Summary We are seeking experienced Tableau Administrators to support and manage enterprise-scale Tableau environments. This role focuses on platform administration, installation, configuration, performance, and reliability—not dashboard development. The ideal candidates have hands-on experience managing large Tableau Server deployments on Windows and are comfortable using Python to automate administrative tasks and integrations. Key Responsibilities • Administer and support enterprise Tableau Server environments in large-scale Windows-based installations • Perform Tableau Server installations, upgrades, configurations, and patching • Manage user access, permissions, authentication, and security settings • Monitor system performance, capacity, and availability; troubleshoot and resolve issues • Maintain Tableau Server architecture including clustering, load balancing, and high availability • Automate administrative tasks and monitoring using Python scripts • Manage backups, restores, and disaster recovery processes • Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure platform stability • Document configurations, procedures, and operational best practices Required Qualifications • Proven experience as a Tableau Administrator (administration-focused, not development) • Hands-on experience with large-scale Tableau Server deployments • Strong background administering Tableau Server on Windows environments • Demonstrated experience with Tableau installation, configuration, and upgrades • Proficiency in Python for automation and administrative scripting • Solid understanding of system monitoring, performance tuning, and troubleshooting Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Tableau Server clustering and high-availability setups • Familiarity with Windows Server administration • Experience integrating Tableau with enterprise authentication systems • Knowledge of backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies Additional Skills • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities • Ability to work independently in a production environment • Clear documentation and communication skills
