Below is JD: Tableau Architect – Life Sciences Analytics Location: Connecticut, US Domain: Life Sciences | Primary Focus: Tableau Architecture, Visualization & Data Engineering About the Role We are seeking a visionary Tableau Architect to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-grade Tableau Cloud solutions in the Life Sciences Analytics domain. This role combines deep technical expertise in Tableau architecture, DevOps, and data integration with a strong focus on visualization strategy, dashboard UX, and storytelling through data. You will architect scalable, secure, and visually compelling analytics platforms that empower pharmaceutical stakeholders with actionable insights across sales, marketing, and operations. Key Responsibilities • Tableau Architecture & Platform Management • Design and implement robust Tableau architecture across Desktop, Server, and Cloud, aligned with enterprise data and reporting strategy. • Lead end-to-end solution design, including dashboard architecture, platform governance, and performance optimization. • Plan and manage Tableau Server/Cloud infrastructure, including scaling, licensing, clustering, upgrades, and security. • Define and enforce governance policies for dashboard development, publishing workflows, and user access. • Visualization Strategy & Dashboard Design • Own the visualization strategy for Tableau across the organization, ensuring dashboards are intuitive, impactful, and aligned with business goals. • Guide development teams on UX/UI best practices, design standards, and visual consistency. • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex analytical needs into interactive, story-driven dashboards. • Champion the use of advanced Tableau features (e.g., LOD expressions, dynamic parameters, actions) • Data Integration & Engineering • Architect data pipelines and integrations from diverse sources including Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks, and other cloud-native platforms. • Ensure high-performance data models and extracts optimized for Tableau consumption. • Partner with data engineering teams to align Tableau architecture with broader data lakehouse and data warehouse strategies. • DevOps & Automation • Implement CI/CD pipelines for dashboard deployment and infrastructure automation. • Monitor platform health, usage metrics, and proactively optimize performance and cost. Qualifications Technical Expertise • 7+ years of experience in Tableau architecture, administration, and dashboard development. • Deep expertise in Tableau Cloud, Tableau Server, and Tableau Desktop. • Proven track record of designing high-impact visualizations and interactive dashboards for executive and operational audiences. • Strong understanding of data architecture, ETL/ELT, and cloud data platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Databricks). • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and infrastructure automation tools. Domain Knowledge • Proven experience working in Pharma Commercial Analytics
