Tableau Data Analyst
Location: Remote within 100 miles of New York, NY, Culver City, CA, Cupertino, CA, or Seattle, WA
Schedule: 40 hours
Duration: 6 Months with potential to extend
Pay: $46-$48.51/hr, DOE (W2 and benefit options)
The Planet Group is looking for a Tableau Data Analyst to join our well-known Fortune 500 client on a 6-month contract, working a remote schedule but located within 100 miles of New York, NY, Culver City, CA, Cupertino, CA, or Seattle, WA.
Tableau Data Analyst Qualifications:
β’ 5+ years experience in a tools, platforms, or applications implementation role
β’ 5+ years of experience implementing business processes in software tools
β’ 5+ years of experience implementing data pipelines and flows
β’ Proficient programming skills and working experience in Python
β’ Proficient experience with Tableau
β’ Passionate about understanding and solving problems, drawing insights, visualizing and storytelling with data
β’ Expert knowledge of data management and metric building
β’ Knows the tools and when to use them, when not to use them, and when itβs time to build new ones
β’ Outstanding analytical and quantitative skills to maintain data integrity and extract relevant metrics
β’ Experience creating documentation that allows stakeholders to understand the steps of the data analysis process
β’ Experience in resource tracking and capacity planning data
β’ Proven record of quickly ramping to understand a complex organizationβs end-user types, individual groups' requirements and how potential new features or changes impact a platform holistically
β’ Comfortable with ambiguity and adjusting to evolving business requirements and priorities
β’ Experience testing and implementing workflow management systems or software
β’ Experience handling sensitive and classified information/data with the utmost discretion
β’ Detail-oriented, strategic, and driven
β’ Familiar with data tools and applications
Tableau Data Analyst Description:
β’ Create the link between Wrike data and Tableau, analyzing large data sets, creating data visualizations in Tableau, and providing strategic insights
β’ Design, build, and maintain a robust data integration pipeline to facilitate seamless data flow between the Wrike project management platform and Tableau reporting dashboards
β’ Utilize Python to write Extraction, Transformation, and Loading (ETL/ELT) scripts that clean, map, and synchronize data objects (tasks, projects, resources, etc.) between the source and destination systems
β’ Collect feedback from Operations team and Wrike Admins to create automated reporting and compelling data visualization solutions with minimal supervision
β’ Build and scale maintainable data infrastructures and end to end reporting solutions that connect Executive, Operations and Producer needs
β’ Monitor and maintain data pipelines and preemptively solve and raise issues
β’ Identify trends and patterns in data that contribute to diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts, along with data reporting & presentation
β’ Data entry and optimization as needed
