Role description
Position Title: Tableau / Data Visualization & Reporting Analyst Location: Remote Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance Position Status: Contract Pay Rate: $50/hr - $52/hr on W2 Position Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Tableau / Data Visualization & Reporting Analyst to design, develop, and deliver impactful dashboards, reports, and analytical solutions that drive data-informed decision-making. This role is ideal for a data professional who thrives at the intersection of analytics, visualization, automation, and business strategy. You will work on large-scale, enterprise-level datasets, building standardized, high-quality reporting solutions that improve operational performance, transparency, and insights across business and technical stakeholders. This is a fully remote contract role aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Design, build, and maintain enterprise-grade dashboards, reports, and metrics using Tableau and Python β€’ Develop standardized, repeatable KPIs and reporting frameworks to ensure data consistency and accuracy β€’ Lead cross-functional collaboration to align business definitions, metrics, and reporting standards β€’ Automate reporting workflows and data pipelines to improve efficiency and scalability β€’ Ensure dashboards follow visualization best practices and analytics design standards β€’ Analyze trends, patterns, and performance metrics to generate actionable business insights β€’ Optimize data quality, validation, and reporting processes β€’ Prepare executive-level presentations and operational performance reports β€’ Support data-driven decision-making through advanced analytics and storytelling Required Skills / Education: Education & Certifications: β€’ Bachelor’s degree or higher β€’ Active Tableau Consultant (Designer Path) certification OR β€’ Active Tableau Data Analyst / Desktop Specialist certification β€’ (Trailblazer profile link required in submission notes) Experience: β€’ 5+ years of hands-on experience in data analytics, reporting, and visualization using Tableau β€’ Advanced SQL expertise for complex queries and data troubleshooting β€’ Proven experience designing enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions β€’ Experience working with large, complex datasets β€’ Must have lived in the United States at least 3 of the last 5 years Technical Skills: β€’ Expert-level Tableau dashboard development and optimization β€’ Advanced SQL and data modeling β€’ Python for automation and data processing β€’ Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access β€’ Strong data governance, reporting standards, and analytics best practices Core Competencies: β€’ Data storytelling and information visualization β€’ Executive-level communication and presentation skills β€’ Stakeholder collaboration across business and technical teams β€’ Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environments β€’ Process optimization and continuous improvement mindset Preferred Qualifications: β€’ Experience with Salesforce and Visualforce β€’ Experience with Apex Data Loader and Salesforce data operations β€’ Healthcare or government program analytics experience β€’ Experience mentoring junior analysts and consultants β€’ Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) β€’ Agile experience (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firmβ€”we are a trusted career partner.
