Role: Tableau Developer – Data Visualization & Analysis Location: Fremont, CA (onsite ) Duration: 12 month We are seeking a talented Tableau Developer to join our analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, dashboard development, and data analysis, with the ability to translate complex data sets into insightful, interactive visual reports using Tableau. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain interactive Tableau dashboards and visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand reporting requirements. • Transform raw data into meaningful insights through storytelling with visual design best practices. • Optimize Tableau dashboards for performance and usability. • Create calculated fields, parameters, hierarchies, filters, and advanced visualizations in Tableau. • Work closely with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy and availability. • Conduct user training and documentation for dashboard users and stakeholders. Required Skills: • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Tableau Developer or Data Visualization Specialist. • Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Prep. • Solid understanding of SQL for data extraction, transformation, and manipulation. • Experience in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, SQL Server, PostgreSQL). • Ability to connect Tableau to various data sources (flat files, databases, cloud data warehouses). • Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and dashboard performance tuning. Preferred Qualifications: • Experience with other BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Qlik) is a plus. • Familiarity with scripting languages (Python/R) for data analysis is an advantage. • Tableau certification (e.g., Tableau Desktop Specialist) is preferred. • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and ETL tools is a plus.
