Role description
Seeking a Senior Tableau to join the Enterprise Risk Management & Supply Chain Analytics team. This role operates in an agile team environment and is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing data analytics, pipelines, and products. The ideal candidate will support cross-functional stakeholders—including IT, software developers, DBAs, analysts, and business operations—to ensure timely and accurate data delivery. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into data-driven solutions.
• Build dashboards, scorecards, and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI.
• Design and implement complex calculations and formulas tailored to business needs.
• Perform in-depth data analysis, validation, and cleansing using SQL and other tools.
• Continuously learn and understand internal systems, organizational structure, and data models.
• Advocate for high data quality and consistent usage across the organization.
• Document processes with process maps, data dictionaries, metadata, and architecture diagrams.
• Develop and execute test strategies to ensure data integrity and efficiency.
• Work independently with moderate oversight, contributing proactively to the team.
• Mentor and train junior analysts or new team members as needed.
Required Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
Experience:
• Minimum 7 years in analytics roles.
• At least 5 years of advanced experience with Tableau.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL.
• Experience with SAP systems and Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with data warehousing technologies (e.g., SAP HANA, Oracle, BigQuery).
• Experience working with large and complex datasets.
• Strong collaboration and team environment experience.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in the utility industry.
• Familiarity with R and Python for statistical or data science tasks.
