β’ Perform periodic upgrades of Business Objects as new versions become available.
β’ Apply security patches, bug fixes, and performance enhancements as released by the vendors.
β’ Conduct pre-upgrade assessments, including compatibility checks and testing.
β’ Ensure minimal disruption by scheduling upgrades during agreed maintenance windows.
β’ Provide rollback procedures in case of upgrade failures. System Monitoring and Performance Tuning
β’ Monitor system health, including server performance, memory usage, and query efficiency.
β’ Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize configurations to improve responsiveness.
β’ Provide recommendations on system scaling and capacity planning. User Support and Issue Resolution
β’ Offer technical assistance to users experiencing issues with Tableau/Business Objects.
β’ Troubleshoot report generation failures, dashboard performance issues, and connectivity problems.
β’ Maintain a ticketing system for logging and tracking issues, with agreed response and resolution times. Backup and Disaster Recovery Support
β’ Support in the regular backups of Tableau/Business Objects environments.
β’ Support recovery procedures in case of data corruption, server failures, or cyber incidents.
β’ Conduct periodic disaster recovery drills to validate system resilience. Documentation and Reporting
β’ Maintain an updated knowledge base for troubleshooting and best practices.
β’ Provide periodic reports on system health, incidents, and resolutions.
β’ Document all patches, upgrades, and major changes in the environment
