Tableau Platform Administrator – Onsite Contract (Raritan, New Jersey)

We’re hiring a Tableau Platform Admin Join Galent and help us deliver high-impact technology solutions that shape the future of digital transformation Role : Tableau Platform Admin Contract Location : Raritan NJ (Onsite) Experience : 10+ years job description As a Tableau Admin, you will oversee the administration and maintenance of Tableau environments. Your role encompasses managing security, performance tuning, upgrade planning, and user training. Your expertise will ensure high availability and scalability of Tableau solutions, enabling stakeholders to visualize and interpret data effectively. Responsibilities Administer and maintain Tableau Server and Tableau Online environments. Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Implement best practices for data governance and security. Support and train end-users on Tableau functionality and data visualization techniques. Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports as needed. Coordinate with other IT and data teams to integrate Tableau with various data sources. Plan and execute upgrades and patch management for Tableau software. Automate routine maintenance tasks and optimize system performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and develop solutions. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience as a Tableau Administrator or similar role. In-depth knowledge of Tableau Server architecture and infrastructure. Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases. Experience with scripting languages such as Python or Shell scripting. Familiarity with data warehouse concepts and ETL processes. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
