Role: Tableau Prep Senior developer Location: Atlanta, GA 5 days Onsite Note: Need very senior consultant + recent project experience- hand's on experience Job description: Requirement: • Data Preparation (Tableau Prep): Build, manage, and optimize Tableau Prep flows (Prepflows) to clean, filter, and restructure data from disparate sources. • Data Transformation: Utilize Tableau Prep to merge (union), join, and clean data (handling nulls, renaming fields, changing data types) for analysis. • Data Modeling & SQL: Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract data from relational databases, data warehouses, or cloud platforms (Snowflake, Redshift). • Dashboard Development: Design and develop interactive, user-friendly Tableau dashboards and reports based on business requirements. • Performance Optimization: Improve the speed and efficiency of Tableau Prep flows and Workbook extracts. Skill Set required: • Expertise in Tableau Suite: Strong knowledge of Tableau Prep Builder, Tableau Desktop, and Tableau Server/Cloud. • SQL Proficiency: Advanced skills in SQL, including writing complex queries for data extraction and manipulation. • Data Analysis: Ability to analyze large, complex, multi-dimensional datasets. • ETL Concepts: Solid understanding of Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes. • Knowledge of Data Warehousing: Familiarity with data modeling, relational databases, and data warehouse technologies (e.g., Snowflake, SQL)
