Role description
Position Title: Senior Tableau Data Visualization & Reporting Analyst Location: Remote (Eastern Time Zone Hours) Clearance Requirements: Ability to Obtain CMS Public Trust (US Person Required) Position Status: Full Time Pay Rate: Competitive; Based on Experience Position Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tableau Data Visualization & Reporting Analyst to support a federal healthcare analytics program. This 100% remote role (aligned to Eastern Time business hours) is ideal for a data professional who excels at transforming complex datasets into meaningful dashboards, executive reporting, and actionable insights. In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions that drive operational performance and strategic decision-making. You will collaborate cross-functionally with business stakeholders, data engineers, and leadership teams to standardize reporting metrics, automate workflows, and enhance data quality. This is a hands-on position requiring strong SQL expertise, advanced Tableau proficiency, and the ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. Key Responsibilities • Design, build, and maintain advanced Tableau dashboards, scorecards, and automated reporting solutions • Develop repeatable metrics and standardized definitions across cross-functional teams • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and performance • Evaluate data sources to improve reporting quality and integrity • Align dashboards with Tableau best practices, governance standards, and visualization principles • Deliver executive-level reporting, presentations, and performance insights • Identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve operational performance • Streamline data intake, validation, and reporting processes through automation (Python/Tableau integrations) • Participate in daily collaboration meetings (M-F, 9AM–5PM EST) Required Skills/Education Education & Certifications: • Bachelor’s degree required • Active Tableau Certification (Consultant, Designer Path, Data Analyst, or Desktop Specialist) required – Trailblazer profile must be provided Experience • 5+ years of experience developing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Tableau • Expert-level SQL query development and data troubleshooting • Advanced experience with Tableau visualization best practices and dashboard optimization • Strong experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Technical Skills • Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud • SQL (advanced querying and data validation) • Python (automation and data processing) • Data visualization standards and reporting governance Security Requirements • Must be a US Person • Must have lived in the United States at least 3 of the past 5 years • Ability to obtain CMS Public Trust Preferred Qualifications • Healthcare analytics or CMS program experience • Experience with Salesforce and Apex Data Loader • AWS platform experience • Experience in Agile environments (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban) • Experience mentoring junior analysts • Experience standardizing enterprise reporting frameworks Work Requirements • 100% Remote role aligned to Eastern Time Zone • Must attend and actively participate in daily meetings • Full professional commitment required (no concurrent part-time roles) About Seneca Resources At Seneca Resources, we are more than just a staffing and consulting firm, we are a trusted career partner.
