Role description

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Talend Developer to design, develop, and maintain complex ETL processes. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and transformation of data. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Talend, a solid understanding of RDBMS concepts, and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for ensuring adherence to best practices, developing ETL standards, and troubleshooting any data integration issues. This is a remote position with a 3+ month duration, requiring the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Skills:

   • 5+ years of ETL experience, specifically with Talend.

   • Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, including MSSQL and Oracle.

   • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

   • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

   • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

   • Design, develop, test, and maintain complex data extracts.

   • Create and enforce standards and policies for ETL processes, including data movement and cleansing.

   • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (business analysts, DBAs, system administrators).

   • Participate in design and analysis sessions for ETL solutions and architecture.

   • Troubleshoot and resolve data integration and transformation issues.

   • Work within an iterative SDLC environment, following department policies and best practices

Must-Haves:

   • 4-year degree in Computer Science or related field.

   • Strong communication and collaborative skills.

   • Self-starter, able to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Skills:

   • Knowledge of ERP SAP, SAP HANA.

   • 2+ years of Java experience.
