Key Responsibilities:
β’ Regulatory Reporting: Prepare, analyze, and validate 2052a and OSFI Liquidity Returns, ensuring timeliness, accuracy, and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
β’ Data Analysis: Conduct detailed analysis of liquidity data, identifying trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
β’ Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments, including Risk Management, Finance, and IT, to ensure data integrity and alignment with regulatory standards.
β’ System Optimization: Contribute to system enhancements and process automation to improve efficiency in liquidity reporting workflows.
β’ Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on changes in regulatory requirements related to liquidity management and ensure the organization's compliance.
β’ Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation for processes, methodologies, and controls associated with liquidity reporting.
β’ Issue Resolution: Investigate data quality issues and collaborate with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
β’ Education: Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA) are an asset.
β’ Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a liquidity reporting role, with a focus on 2052a and OSFI Liquidity Returns.
β’ Technical Skills: Proficiency in financial systems, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with data visualization tools.
β’ Experience with SQL and automation tools is an advantage.
β’ Knowledge: Strong understanding of liquidity risk management, regulatory requirements, and reporting frameworks.
β’ Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a keen attention to detail.
β’ Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse audiences.
