Teamcenter Data Migration Consultant / Engineer

Position: Teamcenter Data Migration Consultant / Engineer Location: Dallas, TX (Remote + Travel), prefer Hybrid but open for REMOTE + Travel (NOTE: Traveling Expenses will not be paid by client, candidate will need to take care of expenses) Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Teamcenter Data Migration Consultant to lead and execute data migration initiatives involving Siemens Teamcenter PLM. The ideal candidate will have deep experience with Teamcenter data models, migration strategies, and tools such as Teamcenter Migration Toolkit (TcMIG), BMIDE, T4S/T4EA. The consultant will be responsible for planning, mapping, transforming, validating, and loading legacy or third-party data into Teamcenter. Key Responsibilities: • Analyze legacy PLM or PDM systems and define data extraction requirements • Develop detailed migration strategy and execution plan for Teamcenter. • Perform data mapping between source systems and Teamcenter schema. • Use Teamcenter Data Migration tools such as TcMIG, BMIDE extensions, or custom ITK/XML loaders. • Develop scripts for data transformation and validation using Python, SQL, or Java. • Execute test and production data migration cycles, ensuring data integrity and consistency. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including PLM architects, business analysts, and infrastructure teams. • Create migration documentation including process flow, data mapping sheets, and error logs. • Ensure compliance with security and data governance standards during migration. Required Skills and Experience: • 5+ years of experience in Siemens Teamcenter, with specific focus on Data Migration. • Strong knowledge of Teamcenter architecture, data model, and BMIDE configurations. • Experience with one or more data migration tools: TcMIG, ITK-based custom migration utilities, etc. • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell, SQL). • Familiarity with PLM integrations (ERP, MES, CAD) and data exchange formats (XML, CSV, JT).
