Tech Business Analyst Sr
Location: Gahanna, Ohio (Onsite)
Role Overview
This role will lead operational support and continuous improvement for an enterprise GIS platform. The successful candidate will manage a prioritized backlog spanning incidents, security remediation, enhancements, and testing readiness, partnering with technology and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead incident intake, triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking.
• Manage and track security vulnerabilities including CVE-related risks.
• Own the Jira backlog including epics, stories, defects, and sprint prioritization, with regular discussion with leadership.
• Coordinate testing across technology and business teams.
• Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Provide leadership reporting on progress, risks, and impediments.
Required Qualifications
Experience: 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and backlog management, with a preference for Jira. Experience supporting GIS or other enterprise platforms is also required.
Education: Coursework related to GIS or Technology is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with JIRA and Agile/Scrum.
• Relevant Scrum certifications are preferred.
