Tech Lead

The Company: A prominent fortune 500 financial services firm with a nationwide network of independent financial advisors. As a Tech Lead, you'll drive impactful projects, shape technical strategies, and foster a collaborative environment that emphasizes both technical excellence and team engagement. This role offers a unique opportunity to influence product development and architectural design in a dynamic, fast-paced setting without geographic limitations. Required Skills: • Proven expertise in .NET Core API development and lifecycle management (out of 10: 8) with a solid understanding of API management tools. • Extensive experience with Angular (out of 10: 8) for building scalable, user-friendly front-end solutions. • Strong cloud platform skills, especially with AWS (out of 10: 7), including deployment, scaling, and cloud architecture responsibilities. • Deep back-end experience emphasizing .NET, .NET Core, and API integration. • Exceptional leadership and team collaboration skills, with a focus on Agile practices and conflict resolution (out of 10: 8). Nice to Have Skills: • Experience in on-prem to cloud migrations, with responsibilities including planning, execution, and post-migration support. • Familiarity with Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) and related content management systems. • Knowledge of AI tools such as cursor AI for development acceleration. • Experience integrating third-party platforms like Mooney, SCA. • Strong understanding of distributed systems, pub/sub messaging (EMS, ActiveMQ), and caching technologies (Solr or similar). Preferred Education and Experience: • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field. • 5+ years of professional experience in software development with leadership responsibilities, particularly involving web applications and cloud environments. Other Requirements: • Ability to operate in a hybrid work environment with 2/3 days onsite. • Strong personality with a proactive, problem-solving engineering mindset. • Willingness to engage actively with the team, driving both technical solutions and team dynamics.
