Tech Lead – Node.js

Hiring: Tech Lead – Node.js (Onsite | USC & GC Only) We’re looking for a hands-on Tech Lead – Node.js to join a high-impact Digital API team building customer-facing, domain-driven microservices. This role is ideal for a strong technical leader who loves greenfield builds, codes heavily, and leads by example. Location, Duration & Work Model • Location: Dallas, TX • Work Model: 100% Onsite (Mandatory) • Duration: 6+ months (possibility of extension) • Work Authorization: US Citizens & Green Card holders only (strict requirement) Job Summary As a Tech Lead, you will design, build, and own Node.js/TypeScript microservices from zero-to-production, while spending ~70% of your time coding. You’ll set API and engineering standards, drive production readiness, lead incident triage, and collaborate across web, mobile, data, security, and operations teams. Must-Have (Non-Negotiable) Skills • 8+ years of backend engineering experience, with 3+ years in technical leadership • Expert-level Node.js & TypeScript • Strong experience with Express / Fastify / NestJS • Proven delivery of domain-driven, event-driven microservices • Deep understanding of DDD concepts (entities, aggregates, bounded contexts) • Experience designing secure, public REST APIs (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, OpenAPI/Swagger) • Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes & cloud-native deployments • Solid knowledge of CI/CD, observability, metrics, logs, traces & SLOs • Proven experience leading production incidents and RCAs • Ability to work onsite in Dallas, TX • USC or GC only Interested?
