Tech Lead – SC Cleared - Python
We’re looking for an SC Cleared Software Developer to play a key role in modernising a legacy government web application.
While the current system runs on Django/Python/PostgreSQL, the team is gradually transitioning to a more modern, streamlined stack, making this an exciting opportunity to balance today’s stability with tomorrow’s innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and support the existing Django-based application.
• Contribute to architectural decisions to reduce complexity.
• Work with PostgreSQL databases and support data optimisation.
• Support asynchronous processing with Celery.
• Drive the transition toward modern web technologies, including JavaScript-based Experience Required:
• Proficiency in Python/Django development.
• Knowledge of relational databases (PostgreSQL).
• Familiarity with asynchronous tools (Celery).
• Interest in modernising legacy systems and introducing new web technologies.
