Role description
Our client, an electric vehicle manufacturing company, is looking for a Service Now Architect to join their team! This is a remote role with PST hours and is a 6-month initial contract.
This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining ServiceNow solutions and integrations in alignment with best practices while ensuring upgradeability. The position partners with cross-functional teams to streamline automation, data management, and connected processes, while also contributing to the company’s IT roadmap through module rollouts, upgrades, and new feature adoption. As a subject matter expert, the role drives best practices, leads discussions on new functionality, and provides guidance on process improvements to optimize the ServiceNow platform and related tools.
Contract Duration: 6 Months
Required Skills & Experience
• 4-6 years of experience developing ServiceNow applications as a Technical solutions Architect.
• Strong hands-on coding skills.
• Document Architecture and design for new solutions and provide recommendations for Architecture best practices.
• Familiar with newer product features in ServiceNow including App Engine Studio, Git, App Engine, Management Center, Integration Hub, and Flow Designer.
• Strong ServiceNow technical breadth and depth spanning various modules including Employee Center, Service Portal, Virtual Agent and Now Mobile.
• Expert level skills in JavaScript, Angular, XML, JSON & CSS Expertise building custom spokes, data streams, business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Policies, etc.
• Service Portal & API development including REST & MID Server integrations.
• Ability to develop and re-engineer existing processes and build appropriate ServiceNow workflows.
Qualifications
• Bachelors degree or higher required; Advance degree in IT related field or extensive experience in ServiceNow development and Implementation
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer
• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect
What You Will Be Doing
• Lead ServiceNow platform upgrade, clone, and maintenance processes.
• Responsible for designing and implementing enterprise IT projects in ServiceNow.
Duties include:
• Gathering requirements from business users
• Working with technical leads to transform and develop ServiceNow solutions.
• Serve as a primary liaison between the business stakeholders and IT.
• Manage change process for all new changes on the platform.
• Define and document user interfaces, support systems and data requirements.
• Develop functional specifications and system design specifications.
