Job Location: onsite- Houston TX W2- USC/GC Job Summary We are seeking a strategic and technically skilled Power Platform Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and governance of scalable solutions across Microsoft Power Platform. This role will be responsible for architecting model-driven apps, centralized data models, and intelligent automation workflows that align with enterprise data strategy, AI enablement, and long-term scalability. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of data engineering and analytics principles at an architectural level and be able to communicate technical solutions clearly to both technical and business audiences. Key Responsibilities Architect end-to-end solutions using Power Platform components: Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dataverse Design and implement model-driven apps and scalable enterprise data models Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure solutions align with data architecture, reporting needs, and performance standards Integrate Power Platform with Microsoft D365, Azure services, Databricks, GCP, and other enterprise systems Define and enforce standards for solution architecture, data modeling, security, and performance Guide development teams on best practices for maintainability, reusability, and automation Support governance frameworks and ensure compliance with data security and retention policies Incorporate AI capabilities (e.g., Copilot, Azure AI services) into Power Platform solutions Strategic Responsibilities Serve as a technical thought leader in the organization’s AI-first and automation strategy Drive adoption of data-driven design principles across Power Platform initiatives Partner with enterprise architecture and data teams to ensure alignment with long-term technology vision Mentor developers and analysts on scalable solution design and Power Platform capabilities Lead architecture reviews, workshops, and roadmap planning sessions Translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for business and executive stakeholders Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and align stakeholders Present solution designs, roadmaps, and architecture decisions in a way that connects with business value and strategic outcomes Documentation & Visualization Responsibilities Create and maintain detailed solution architecture diagrams, data flow maps, and integration blueprints Document platform standards, reusable components, and governance models Maintain architecture decision records (ADRs) to track rationale and trade-offs Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field 8+ years of experience in solution architecture, application development, or platform engineering Deep expertise in Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse) Strong understanding of model-driven app architecture and enterprise data modeling Ability to design solutions that integrate with data engineering pipelines and analytics platforms Experience integrating Power Platform with Microsoft D365, Azure, and third-party systems Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application within Power Platform Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills Preferred Skills Experience with Databricks and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Knowledge of Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations and Common Data Service Exposure to MLOps, Azure AI services, and Copilot integration Experience with governance tools like Microsoft Purview Strong understanding of security, compliance, and data lifecycle management Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence platform strategy
