Technical Business Analyst

Compensation & Work Arrangement • Pay Rate: $50/hr (W2) • Contract: 6 months with strong likelihood of extensions. • Location: Hybrid in Dallas, TX. Onsite presence up to 3 times per week as needed. Business Analyst – Digital Grid Infrastructure About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst to support infrastructure services within the Digital Grid Management space. In this role, you will collaborate with project managers and infrastructure leads to create and track service tickets, document requirements, and provide financial data entry and reporting for ongoing projects. This position requires strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to coordinate with multiple technology teams. Proficiency in Excel and related tools is essential for success. Key Responsibilities • Partner with project managers and infrastructure leads to support project activities and ticket creation for infrastructure services. • Work with cross-functional technology teams to understand infrastructure needs and requirements. • Perform data entry into project financial systems and support monthly financial reporting and variance analysis. • Contribute to project budget planning and capital expenditure (CapEx) processes. • Develop and deliver documentation for infrastructure solutions, including architecture, engineering, and build deliverables. • Serve as a liaison across application development, testing, operations, security, compliance, and external vendors. • Create clear, accurate documentation using Microsoft Office and Visio. • Research and analyze information, resolve discrepancies, and provide status reports to project managers. • Maintain project documentation, knowledge bases (e.g., Confluence), and hardware/software tracking records. • Demonstrate urgency in completing tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring timely delivery of quality outcomes. Required Skills & Experience • 1+ year of experience in infrastructure services. • 2+ years of experience with Excel, Visio, and Microsoft Project. • 2+ years of project-based work experience. • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with technical and business stakeholders. • Financial reporting experience, including variance analysis and monthly reporting. • Familiarity with technologies such as JIRA, VMware, Windows, Linux, Oracle, and SQL. • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities. Preferred Qualifications • Experience with Planview or similar project portfolio management tools.
