Technical Business Analyst – eCommerce - £550 pd Outside IR35
Our large UK-based eCommerce client requires a Business Analyst with a strong technical skillset to join them on a 6-month contract assignment. This is a great opportunity for a technical professional with great hands-on knowledge of APIs to join a widely recognisable brand.
The Technical Business Analyst will be responsible for understanding APIs to a technical detail and actively shaping digital products, by evaluating how data flows between different architectural layers. You will be writing high-level epics and breaking them down into stories, and collaborating with scrum teams to continuously refine and size the backlog. This will be alongside requirements gathering and defining processes.
Key Skills:
• Strong proven background as a Business Analyst within an eCommerce transactional architecture
• Experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to analyse customer behaviour
• Background in working with microservices and APIs (SOAP and RESTFUL) including knowing how to test them, understanding requests and responses, and experience with POSTMAN or similar
• Knowledge of writing epics, business user stories and tasks
• Experienced in an Agile team environment
• Ability to assist Architects and Developers to design data flow, integration and test scenarios
Rate: £500 per day Outside IR35
Duration: 6 months
Location: Hybrid/Central London (infrequent requirement on site)
