Technical Business Analyst – Cards & Payment Networks
Location: Burgess Hill UK-3 days from Office weekly
Experience: 7+ Years
Domain: Payments / Banking
We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong expertise in Cards, Payment Networks, and Transaction Processing.
Key Skills:
• Card Issuing & Acquiring
• Visa, Mastercard & Amex Networks
• ISO 8583, ISO 20022 & JSON APIs
• Authorization, Clearing & Settlement
• Reconciliation, Chargebacks & Disputes
• PCI-DSS & Payment Compliance
• SQL, Jira & Confluence
Responsibilities:
• Gather and translate business requirements into technical specifications
• Map payment data across internal systems and payment networks
• Support scheme certification and compliance testing
• Define and validate end-to-end payment test scenarios
• Analyze transaction issues using SQL and log analysis
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, and Network teams in Agile environments
Preferred Experience:
• Visa Base III
• Mastercard CIS
• Amex Payment Systems
• Cryptographic / PIN Translation Knowledge
