Role description
Our Financial Services client is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to join their team for the next 12 months, 40 hours/week. This role is hybrid onsite 3 days a week in Milwaukee, WI.
Role Summary
The Technical Business Analyst will play a key role in supporting the development and optimization of the corporate website platform. This role requires strong experience with Agile methods, Content Management Systems (preferably Drupal), website platform development, design systems, and analytics. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen, analytical capability, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to drive successful delivery of website features, enhancements, and performance improvements. Proficiency with the Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, Confluence) is essential.
Top Must Have Skills
Strong experience with Agile methods and backlog management
Expertise with Content Management Systems, preferably Drupal
Background in website platform development and design systems
Proficiency with Jira and Confluence
Strong analytical and technical problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams
Additional Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
3+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst in a website development environment
Experience contributing to scalable, secure, high-performance web solutions
Familiarity with analytics tools and data-driven decision-making
Advanced Certified Scrum Master certification or equivalent experience (preferred)
Ability to facilitate Scrum practices and mentor others in Agile methodologies (preferred)
Basic understanding of software testing principles, including test case development and execution (preferred)
Ability to assist in validation and verification of website functionality to ensure high-quality user experience (preferred)
Responsibilities
Lead the development and ongoing management of the product backlog, ensuring well-defined stories and clear prioritization aligned with business goals
Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
Collaborate with the Product Owner and development teams to deliver high-quality website features and enhancements
Serve as a technical expert on Content Management Systems
Partner with content creators, designers, and developers to optimize CMS functionality and workflows
Support CMS customization and configuration to meet organizational needs
Ensure seamless integration of design systems and components into the website platform
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of scalable, secure, high-performance website solutions
Use analytics tools to monitor website performance and recommend continuous improvements
Advocate for consistent use of design systems across the website
Track user interactions and identify optimization opportunities using analytics insights
Use Jira to manage and track development tasks, bugs, and enhancements
Document processes, requirements, and project updates in Confluence
Promote effective and transparent use of the Atlassian Tool Suite to support Agile collaboration
In this position, you may have access to client or customer systems, confidential and/or proprietary information or data, including financial information. This position is onsite and requires you to work closely with other individuals in a collaborative team environment.
