Role description
We're currently supporting an Investment Bank in their seach for a Senior Business Analyst for their Technology Innovation within Risk, focusing on driving strategic business analysis initiatives that enable technology transformation within the credit risk domain. The position will play a key part in shaping and delivering technology solutions that align with the organization’s risk management and innovation objectives across the EMEA region. Key Responsibilities • Support the technology transformation across the Risk department. • Contribute to the design of target infrastructure changes linked to Credit Risk initiatives. • Validate pricing and simulation models.. • Translate and align trade and market data fields from source trading systems. • Demonstrate strong expertise in credit risk reporting frameworks and processes. • Collaborate with business stakeholders to design solutions for end-of-day and intraday credit risk monitoring across the bank entity. • Partner with technology project managers and risk system vendors to define delivery timelines and verify vendor package updates. • Contribute to defining testing strategies and actively participate in test execution for new product developments. • Work closely with Technology Risk, Risk Analytics, Market Risk, Credit Risk, and Front Office Solutions teams. Desired Skills/Experience • Quantitative background with familiarity in counterparty credit risk and PFE modelling. • Experience working with vendor or proprietary pricing and risk engines such as FraimWRX or Murex. • Strong business analysis experience across the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering and documentation. • Understanding of credit risk concepts including PFE, VaR, Expected Shortfall and CVA. • Technical skills in SQL and Excel/VBA; exposure to Python, SAS, or Microsoft Power BI beneficial. • Experience supporting testing and UAT processes. • Knowledge of investment banking products, particularly Interest Rate, FX and Loans. • Experience delivering credit risk solutions with multiple stakeholders across business and technology teams.
