Together with Data, Product, CRM and Performance Marketing teams, we are building an audience-first, data-led operations to enable UKTV to optimise its digital transformation and maximise revenue generation in the short and long term. Based out of the UKTV BA Team, This is a new position where you will be working with multiple teams to shape the Martech strategy to enhance the CRM and Performance Marketing operations in the first instance, as well as other team operations. You will be involved in embedding new and existing tech platforms as we introduce a new data stack alongside our parent company, BBC Studios.
What we would like you to bring to the role….key experience, knowledge, skills & personal qualities
You will help to bridge the gap between raw data and marketing execution, ensuring marketing teams, agencies and partners can easily access and leverage 1P data within campaigns.
You will coordinate MarComms 1P data requirements, translate into technical data briefs and work with multiple stakeholders to implement and optimise data processes between different Martech platforms (CDP, CEP, Data Clean Room, Attribution Tools) to enable marketing campaigns delivery.
You will oversee and document how marketing data is built, structured and consistently used across paid, owned media channels and wider marketing operations.
You will have analyse Appsflyer and work with Marketing, Data and Product teams to optimise the event tracking set up for robust attribution deployment across all marketing investments.
You will work closely with data privacy and GDPR compliance workstreams (alongside Legal & Data teams) and be a guide for marketing to ensure privacy compliance is adhered to, and new data use cases are managed and executed effectively.
You will work with marketing, data, agency and martech vendors to ensure the continued delivery of targeted advertising segments sold by U.
You will document marketing requirements, translating into clear product requests with supporting success criteria and conduct UAT on delivered product solutions.
Experience in/of
At least 3 years strong Business Analysis experience, ideally within the media industry and/or digital marketing environment
You will have experience in gathering, analysing and documenting business and system requirements for large scale projects and incremental enhancements
You will have hands-on experience implementing, maintaining, and optimising 1P data and Martech tools.
You are confident in building and analysing audiences and their behaviours by utilising 1P, 2P and 3P data.
Knowledge of mobile marketing analytics platform and CDP (preferred Appsflyer and Mediarithmics) is essential to ensure that data flows correctly across platforms.
Knowledge of Braze, mParticle or alternative customer data and engagement platforms is essential.
Has experience working with Performance Marketing analytics
Familiarity with cloud-based data storage and analytics platforms such as Snowflake and AWS

Able to translate marketing requirements into technical briefs, and explain technical concepts to non-technical people.
Able to simplify complex problems into component parts and deal with them systematically
Able to manage your own time and prioritise accordingly often working on multiple projects simultaneously
Able to develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders and manage their needs. Ability to distinguish needs from wants and to help prioritise business needs. Adept at collaborating across departments
Able to communicate effectively using both technical and non-technical language as appropriate to stakeholders at all levels.
Able to produce documentation appropriate for both technical and non-technical stakeholders eg. Process flows, user stories, acceptance criteria, training materials
Strong attention to detail, great critical thinking skills and comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
