Technical Business Analyst (Data) – Enterprise Scale Data Migration 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract – £60,000 – 70,000 – Fully Remote (UK) Are you a seasoned Technical Business Analyst with extensive experience in large-scale data migration projects within enterprise environments? Are you ready to take on a high-profile fixed-term contract where your role and expertise will directly support the business and shape critical data transformation initiatives? We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a rich background in data to join our leading enterprise client on a fixed-term basis for 12 months, with the potential to extend. This role offers between £60,000 – 70,000. The Role: In this role, you will play a pivotal role in a major migration initiative, ensuring a seamless transition of large volumes of data across systems. Utilising your technical data expertise, you will work closely with Sales and Marketing professionals and senior stakeholders, perform gap analysis, perform data validation whilst being able to identify risks and collaborate with technical teams to deliver a successful migration strategy. Key Responsibilities: ✅ Lead and support end-to-end data migration projects, ensuring data integrity and business continuity ✅ Gather, document, and translate business requirements into actionable data migration strategies ✅ Capture requirements for integration and ensure alignment across multiple data sources ✅ Consolidate and prioritise requests from various business units ✅ Work closely with technical teams to perform gap analysis, validate data mapping, cleansing, validation and transformation processes ✅ Engage senior stakeholders to align project goals, facilitate decision-making, and manage expectations ✅ Identify and mitigate risks associated with data migration, ensuring compliance with industry best practices ✅ Support post-migration validation and troubleshooting to guarantee a smooth transition What We’re Looking For: 🔹 Proven experience as a Technical Business Analyst leading large-scale data migration projects within enterprise organisations 🔹 Detailed data experience is mandatory, including data structures, ETL processes, and data governance principles 🔹An in-depth understanding of SQL, VBA and Excel 🔹Ideally you will come from a technical background, however if you are well versed in the tools mentioned above, we would still love to hear from you! 🔹 Able to relay and breakdown messages from the business for technical and non-technical teams. 🔹 Experience working with complex legacy systems and modern cloud-based technologies 🔹 Strong ability to capture integration requirements and work across multiple teams 🔹 Exceptional stakeholder management and problem-solving skills in high-pressure environments 🔹 Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams 🔹Any experience working in Sales & Marketing would be a bonus but is not essential.
