Technical Business Analyst – Salesforce / Marketing Cloud 📍 Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid) 🏢 Client: Georgia Tech 📄 Employment Type: Contract (6 Months – Possible Extension) ⚠️ Local Atlanta Candidates Only About the Role We are seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst with strong Salesforce and Marketing Cloud expertise to support our client Georgia Tech. This role serves as the subject matter expert and troubleshooting resource for Salesforce Lightning Experience and Marketing Cloud. The ideal candidate will combine technical expertise, analytical capabilities, and business analysis skills to support system enhancements, data integrations, and user adoption initiatives. You will collaborate with both technical teams and functional stakeholders, ensuring Salesforce solutions align with business needs while maintaining data integrity and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Salesforce Support & Troubleshooting • Provide ongoing user support and troubleshooting for Salesforce Lightning Experience issues. • Diagnose and resolve complex Salesforce technical and data integration issues. • Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce-related technical concerns. Reporting & Analytics • Develop and enhance advanced Salesforce reports and dashboards. • Utilize cross-filters, custom report types, and advanced reporting techniques. • Support leadership with actionable insights through data analysis and visualization. Marketing Cloud Development • Build and optimize Marketing Cloud features, including: • Cloud Pages • Data capture workflows • Digital communication integrations • Manage segmentation, automation workflows, and data synchronization. Business Analysis & Stakeholder Collaboration • Work closely with Marketing, Advising, and Digital Communications teams to translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce solutions. • Conduct requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation. • Bridge communication between functional users and technical teams. Data Quality & Integration • Maintain data quality and consistency between Salesforce and Marketing Cloud. • Troubleshoot issues related to: • Data lists • Segmentation • Automation behaviors • Integration processes. UAT & Adoption • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities. • Support training and adoption initiatives to ensure successful system usage. • Enable functional teams to effectively manage Salesforce tools. Documentation & Process Improvement • Document system enhancements, workflows, and operational processes. • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement of Salesforce operations.
