Technical Business Analyst - W2 Role

Role: Technical Business Analyst Location: Washington, DC Type of role: W2(Independent visa only) Job description: · Strong knowledge and experience in capital markets and investment markets. · Should have good working experience in these. · Technical skill s- data experience, Should be good in SQL queries · Analyze the reports in source system and document · Go through the report in source system and compare with target system which is being implemented. ( Summit -> Murex ) · Verify the report generated by developers and report bugs · work with end users to understand the requirements Key Responsibilities 1. Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business decisions. 1. Perform business analysis to understand current processes, gather requirements, and recommend solutions for process improvements. 1. Work closely with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes and information systems. 1. Utilize agile methodology to plan, prioritize, and deliver features in a timely manner. 1. Collaborate within team to ensure alignment between business needs and technical solutions. 1. Create detailed documentation including user stories, process flows, and acceptance criteria. 1. Participate in meetings, workshops, and presentations to share findings and gather feedback. 1. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively address issues to ensure project success. Skill Requirements 1. Strong data analysis skills with the ability to interpret and analyze complex data sets. 1. Proficiency in business analysis techniques such as swot analysis, pestle analysis, and requirements elicitation. 1. Experience with agile methodology and tools like jira or trello. 1. Good communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels. 1. Problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose effective solutions. 1. Detail oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively. 1. Advanced proficiency in microsoft excel and powerpoint for data visualization and reporting.
