About the Role
We are seeking a Technical Coordinator to support a Data Services team responsible for multiple ongoing technical initiatives. This role will focus on organizing project activities, tracking deliverables, documenting findings, and improving communication between leadership, staff, and stakeholders.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, self-driven, and capable of working independently with minimal direction.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule meetings, track action items, and maintain documentation for Data Services work efforts.
Ensure leadership and staff are aligned on project status, decisions, and next steps.
Develop work structures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and process documents.
Create forms, trackers, and reporting tools to support team operations.
Manage staff deliverables and vendor relationships.
Oversee team training and support onboarding processes.
Provide status updates, documentation, and reporting to operational business users.
Business Need
This role plays a key part in building structure and operational efficiency within a data-focused team handling numerous small technical projects. The coordinator will help establish standardized processes, documentation, and reporting tools. Once these systems are fully developed and adopted, the need for day-to-day coordination is expected to decrease.
Required Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Project Coordinator or Technical Coordinator.
Ability to work independently and deliver results with minimal supervision.
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
Understanding of basic project management principles.
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, government, or public sector environments.
Background working with data engineers or technical teams.
Familiarity with PMI/PMP methodologies (bonus).
Technical Skills
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience with project management tools such as Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
Strong working knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Teams.
