• • • This role is also open for candidates living in Charlotte, North Carolina or Tampa, Florida • • • About the Technical Lead Opportunity: Optomi, in partnership with one of our clients, is seeking a Technical Lead to support a large-scale digital and AI transformation initiative. This role will play a key part in modernizing member experiences across web, mobile, and self-service platforms. The Technical Lead will drive solution architecture, guide engineering teams, and oversee end-to-end technical delivery of scalable digital products. This position focuses on full-stack development, cloud-native architecture, API design, and integration of personalization and AI-driven experiences, while partnering closely with system integrators and internal stakeholders. Experience the right candidate has: • 10+ years of overall software engineering experience • 3–5+ years in a Technical Lead or Lead Engineer role • Strong hands-on experience with Angular and Ionic development • Backend development with Node.js (REST and/or GraphQL APIs) • Experience with Adobe Experience platforms (AEM, Target, Analytics) • Cloud-native development experience, preferably AWS serverless (Lambda, API Gateway, IAM) • Full-stack architecture and CI/CD pipeline experience • Experience leading engineering teams and working with system integrators Responsibilities of the right candidate: • Lead architecture, design, and technical delivery of digital initiatives • Own end-to-end engineering execution and production readiness • Guide full-stack development teams and external vendor partners • Build scalable and reusable frontend and backend components • Develop APIs and cloud-native backend services • Ensure application performance, scalability, and security best practices • Drive personalization and customer experience enhancements using Adobe platforms • Implement monitoring, observability, and reliability standards • Support rollout of AI-driven assistants and automation features • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to align solutions with strategic goals
