Job#: 3033394 Job Description: Technical Lead Location: Remote Employment Type: Contract Role Overview We are seeking a Technical Lead to provide oversight for development teams. This role involves guiding the day-to-day activities of offshore and nearshore leads and cross-functional teams. The position requires an individual who can manage multiple efforts, ensure technical delivery, and serve as a key point of contact for project execution and strategy. Key Responsibilities • Oversee day-to-day activities within offshore/nearshore leads and cross-functional teams, providing technical oversight to delivery and execution tasks. • Review and approve code reviews and merge requests. • Meet with business partners and stakeholders to communicate project updates, escalate impediments, and provide input on execution and strategy. • Collaborate with business resources to understand requirements and support the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, testing, and implementation. • Reverse engineer code to understand the current state and identify gaps. • Collaborate with other Technical Leads on best practices, pain points, and trends. Required Qualifications Experience: • 8+ years of experience in Java development. • Experience as a technical project lead. • Strong communication and relationship-building skills. • Experience with process analysis. Technical Skills: • Understanding of SDLC and CI/CD pipeline concepts. • Knowledge of Java-based coding and Web API concepts to provide strategic recommendations. • Familiarity with SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). Preferred Qualifications • Experience with AI technology for code reviews, such as GitHub Copilot. • Knowledge of SpringBoot. • Experience with GitLab. • Previous experience in the insurance domain. Compensation & Benefits The pay rate for this position is between $74.00/hour and $79.00/hour. A benefits package may be available to eligible employees.
