Role description
Job Title: Architect Responsibilities β€’ Support the architecture, design, implementation, transition to production, and documentation of complex technical systems β€’ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, project management, product management, and other stakeholders, to define project scope, requirements, and deliverables β€’ Support compliance with industry best practices in protocols, methodologies, and approaches, Security policies and OTI technical standards, throughout the project lifecycle β€’ Lead and actively participate in technical reviews, including infrastructure configuration and code reviews. β€’ Ensure the successful completion of Technical and Operational Design Peer Reviews to maintain quality standards. β€’ Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation to ensure transparency and clarity throughout the development lifecycle. β€’ Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm’s respectful and courteous work environment. Qualifications β€’ 8+ years of proven expertise supporting technical teams including software development using Java and cloud infrastructure. β€’ Extensive hands-on experience in architecting, designing, and developing Java applications and Microservices. β€’ Hands-on experience with Azure Services including ACA/AKS, Azure VMs, Azure Functions, Azure Logic Apps, APIM, Azure Application Gateway, etc. β€’ Knowledge of Docker, JFrog Artifactory and software quality assurance tools like Veracode, SonarQube etc. β€’ Proficiency with essential Java frameworks and technologies including Spring, Spring Boot, JPA, Hibernate, and JSP. β€’ Familiarity with front-end technologies such as REACT.js, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. β€’ Experience with Microsoft Entra ID (Azure Active Directory) for identity management. β€’ Strong understanding of Relational Database technologies including Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and/or PostgreSQL. ================ ο»ΏKPMG LLP (β€œKPMG”) seeks a contractor in the United States to provide service to KPMG through one of our contracted employer/agency service providers.
