Technical Product Owner - Oracle Data

Role Title: Technical Product Owner - Oracle Financial Services Data Employment Type: Contract Duration: Through 12/31/2026, with an option to extend for an additional six months, or potential conversion to FTE Preferred Location: Remote EST time zone with occasional travel to NY Role Description: We are seeking a Technical Product Owner with strong expertise in Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) and enterprise data sourcing initiatives. Key Responsibilities • Serve as the Product Owner for Oracle FSDF data sourcing and integration initiatives • Own and manage the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement, sprint planning, and roadmap development in Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments • Partner with business stakeholders, data architects, and engineering teams to define and prioritize data sourcing requirements supporting Oracle FSDF • Gather, document, and validate business and technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria • Drive alignment between source systems, Oracle FSDF data models, and downstream reporting, analytics, and enterprise applications • Collaborate with development, QA, and business teams during design, build, testing, and deployment phases • Lead and participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups, backlog refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives, and demonstrations • Oversee data sourcing, data mapping, transformation, and integration activities supporting FSDF subject areas • Ensure data quality, completeness, lineage, governance, and reconciliation across source-to-target processes • Work closely with data architects and SMEs to understand FSDF data models, business rules, and regulatory reporting requirements • Identify and manage dependencies, risks, and impediments impacting delivery timelines • Support documentation, reporting, and collaboration using Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools • Drive continuous improvement through Agile best practices, lean principles, and effective product management techniques Requirements: Required Qualifications • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Product Owner, or Business Analyst supporting enterprise data sourcing initiatives • Prior experience serving as a Product Owner on Oracle FSDF (Financial Services Data Foundation) implementations or enhancements • Experience working with Oracle FSDF data models, subject areas, and financial services data domains • Strong knowledge of data architecture, data lineage, and source-to-target mapping methodologies • Experience supporting regulatory reporting, risk, finance, or enterprise data warehouse initiatives • Proficiency with SQL, Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office tools • Strong understanding of Agile delivery frameworks including Scrum and Kanban • Proven ability to collaborate across business, data engineering, architecture, QA, and operations teams • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and facilitation skills • Preferred Qualifications • Experience within banking, financial services, or highly regulated industries
