Role description
STAND 8 provides end to end IT solutions to enterprise partners across the United States and with offices in Los Angeles, New York, New Jersey, Atlanta, and more including internationally in Mexico and India. Our Solutions team is seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner (Salesforce Sales Cloud) to lead the development and enhancement of a newly established Salesforce CRM solution supporting Ad Sales and Marketing for a global Media & Entertainment client. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud, product ownership, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver scalable, user-centric solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders, engineers, and business teams to define product strategy, manage the backlog, and ensure successful delivery of features that align with business goals. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical fluency in Salesforce architecture, Lightning UI, data models, and integrations. We have a direct connection with our stakeholder and are setting up interviews immediately. The consultant must be able to commute to an office location, once a month or quarter, for key meetings but will primarily work remote within commutable distance to once the following offices: New York Tri-State (NY, NJ, CT) , Orlando, or Los Angeles. Key Responsibilities: β€’ Define and execute the Salesforce CRM product roadmap for Ad Sales and Marketing teams. β€’ Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver scalable solutions using Salesforce Sales Cloud, Lightning Web Components, and APIs. β€’ Gather and translate business requirements into user stories and technical specifications. β€’ Write user stories in Jira to be actioned by engineering teams to deliver new features and enhancements to business requirements. β€’ Define and execute Salesforce product strategy and roadmap for internal business-facing CRM products, using knowledge across Sales Cloud, Einstein AI, Agentforce, and Data Cloud, β€’ Own and manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and lead Agile ceremonies (e.g., sprint planning, stand-ups). β€’ Perform hands-on configuration and UI enhancements using the Lightning framework. β€’ Ensure the appropriate security best practices are built into each product feature. β€’ Ensure alignment between product features and business objectives through KPIs and stakeholder feedback. β€’ Oversee the full product lifecycle-from discovery to launch and post-launch optimization. β€’ Stay current on Salesforce platform capabilities, industry trends, and best practices. Requirements: β€’ 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager, with recent focus on Salesforce CRM (Sales Cloud). β€’ Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data models, Lightning Framework, APIs, and integrations. β€’ Must have excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to write clear specifications and user stories using tools like Jira. β€’ Proven experience supporting Ad Sales and/or Marketing teams in a media or entertainment environment. β€’ Familiarity with Salesforce best practices with data models, security, and UI/UX. β€’ Experience managing Agile workflows and leading sprint planning and backlog grooming sessions. β€’ Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical teams. β€’ Must have experience working with both business stakeholders and engineering teams β€’ Any Salesforce certifications would be very nice to have e.g. Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant, Administrator / Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder, Business Analyst Additional Details The base range for this contract position is $105,000 - 125,000 / per year, depending on experience. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
