Role description
Responsibilities
β’ Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of Zuora Billing, CPQ, and Revenue solutions.
β’ Architect and configure integrations between Zuora, NetSuite ERP, CRM (e.g., Salesforce), and payment gateways to enable end-to-end subscription lifecycle management.
β’ Develop and configure product catalogs, rate plans, billing rules, and subscription workflows to support complex pricing and revenue models.
β’ Drive technical strategy and execution in carve-out scenarios, separating business units/divisions and enabling independent system operations.
β’ Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and translate requirements into scalable, compliant Zuora and NetSuite architectures.
β’ Ensure technical solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards while enabling accurate revenue recognition.
β’ Establish best practices in subscription management processes, API integration, and automation.
β’ Partner with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales operations, product, finance) to align technical design with business strategy.
β’ Troubleshoot and optimize existing Zuora implementations for improved operational efficiency and scalability.
Qualifications
β’ 5-10 years of hands-on experience implementing and architecting Zuora Billing, CPQ, and Revenue solutions.
β’ Experience integrating Zuora with NetSuite ERP is required.
β’ Proven experience designing product catalogs, rate plans, discounting structures, and billing rules within Zuora.
β’ Experience leading or supporting carve-out initiatives, separating business units, divisions, or subsidiaries from parent companies.
β’ Strong background integrating Zuora with CRM (preferably Salesforce), ERP systems, and other enterprise platforms.
β’ Proficiency in Zuora APIs, workflows, and custom scripting for automation and integration.
β’ Deep understanding of subscription lifecycle management, order-to-cash processes, and revenue recognition principles.
β’ Ability to document architectures, solution designs, and technical workflows.
β’ Strong communication skills for engaging both technical and business stakeholders.
β’ Experience in fast-paced, high-growth, or enterprise-scale environments preferred.
Required Skills
β’ Zuora Certified Architect or other Zuora certifications.
β’ Experience with multi-currency, global subscription models.
β’ Knowledge of PCI compliance, data security, and regulatory requirements in subscription billing.
