Job Summary
Paramint is hiring a Technology Analyst to support the Engineering Department of a large public-sector transportation and infrastructure agency.
You will be the go-to technical owner for engineering software and environments: Autodesk, Bluebeam, and 70+ specialized engineering tools, Azure Virtual Desktop, and engineering project data servers. You will work closely with central IT on deployments, upgrades, and virtual/Cloud environments while directly supporting engineers in their day-to-day work.
This is a hands-on, full-time role for someone who can manage licenses, coordinate with IT, and keep critical engineering applications running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
Deploy, upgrade, and support Autodesk and 70+ engineering applications for end users.
Administer and support Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) and collaborate with the server team on Engineering Application VM servers.
Manage approximately 500 Bluebeam Revu licenses, including portal configuration, installations, and setting up project review sessions.
Support OS and device refreshes by pre-installing engineering software and assisting users with new or replacement machines.
Administer engineering project data servers, including folder setup, access rights, and uploading project files into systems such as Livelink.
Maintain accurate software license records and documentation (for example, on SharePoint).
Build and maintain Power BI dashboards and usage/license utilization reports for management.
Run maintenance tasks in SQL Server Management Studio using existing backup and cleanup scripts.
Required Qualifications
We are looking for candidates who meet most of the following:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
5+ years of hands-on experience with Autodesk applications (such as AutoCAD, Revit), including support and troubleshooting for end users.
5+ years of experience with Bluebeam Revu and Adobe Acrobat Pro for PDF workflows.
3+ years working with Azure Cloud (for example, Azure Data Lake, Azure storage, Azure Virtual Desktop).
Strong skills with Microsoft Office and Power BI (building reports and dashboards).
Experience supporting engineering or technical teams (design applications, project data, or document workflows).
Able to work in a hybrid model, including onsite at 2 Montgomery St, Jersey City, NJ, on a regular basis within the Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM ET schedule.
Willing to work as a W2 contractor (no C2C, no 1099) and legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, now and in the future.
Nice to Have
Experience with large public agencies, utilities, or infrastructure organizations.
Experience with tools such as Leica Cyclone, EQuIS, or similar engineering platforms.
Experience with virtual desktop environments at scale (AVD, Citrix, or similar).
