Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 - Hybrid 3 days a week Job Description: WPlease have candidates take and submit coding test and include link in candidate submission- Responsibilities β€’ Help create a culture that motivates teams to ensure zero defects into production. β€’ Work across teams to understand enterprise quality requirements and ensure adoption of core processes and standards. β€’ Implement the shift-left test strategy as the organization rearchitects our technology platform. β€’ Leverage market-leading automation frameworks and tools across all levels of testing that integrate in the automated CI/CD pipelines. β€’ Participate in product design reviews ensuring quality practices are baked into the software development and deployment life cycle. β€’ Work with internal teams to document test environment and test data management container strategies and provisioning for the different types of testing activities. β€’ Comprehend and decompose user stories/requirements to identify what tests need to be created and automated across all levels of testing. β€’ Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans. Qualifications β€’ 6+ years of experience in test automation engineering with API based testing. β€’ Preferred BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or related subject. Required Experience: β€’ Proficiency writing code in one of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, TypeScript β€’ Working knowledge of IVR focused test automation tools such as: β€’ Cyara Velocity β€’ Automating API testing and extensive knowledge of creating and leveraging mocks, stubs, and virtual services to fulfill test automation requirements using one of the following approaches: β€’ Requests (Python) β€’ Axios (JS/TS) β€’ Extensive knowledge working with API requests and responses, traversing complex JSON tree data structures. β€’ Domain knowledge on IVR (Contact Center) applications such as: β€’ Genesys Cloud – Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system β€’ Must demonstrate understanding of AI topics in the context of IVR technology β€’ LLMs β€’ Classification models β€’ Voice to text transcription models Preferred Experience with: β€’ Familiarity with Agile Frameworks and regression testing. β€’ Working experience in API testing and SQL queries. β€’ Experience in Quality Assurance Life Cycle (QALC) and Test Management aspects such as developing test strategies, defect reports, defect tracking, traceability matrices using Jira. Experience with Test Management Tools: β€’ qTest β€’ Continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) supporting technologies: β€’ GIT, Git Lab, Docker β€’ Financial services technology/ consumer banking testing experience β€’ Experience in Cyara Automation. β€’ Automating tests for the full solution stack (unit, business logic, contract, usability, functional, performance). β€’ Extensive knowledge of: β€’ White Box Testing practices. β€’ Software Engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and release processes, continuous integration, and continuous deployment concepts (CI & CD), and test suite development and maintenance. β€’ Must be able to provide hands-on training for existing testers in writing and using automation scripts and ensuring best practices are followed. β€’ Should have good experience with both manual and automated testing, preferably in the IVR space. β€’ Possesses a deep understanding of shift-left test practices and techniques along with the frameworks, and tools that support it. β€’ Strong written and verbal communication skills. β€’ Enthusiastic and energetic with an inherent curiosity to break code.
